I met Alf (and others) through their charitable works. With often difficult scenarios Alf demonstrated empathy, genuiness and unconditional positive regard to those clients, I felt he was always a true gent of the 'Old' City standing. Go to rest knowing how many peoples lives you helped to make a difference too.
